You can use the gapped text in several ways:

With audio

Print the text, listen to the dialogue and fill in the words. Check your answers using the dialogue in the book when you're done. If you filled in words different from those in the book, they might still be correct. Ask your teacher (or another native speaker) if those words also fit.

Without audio

Print the text and fill in the words. Look closely at the sentence: what kind of word needs to be filled in? A substantive, an adjective, a pronome, a verb? In what form? Check your answers using the dialogue in the book when you're done. If you filled in words different from those in the book, they might still be correct. Ask your teacher (or another native speaker) if those words also fit.

Both with and without audio
